{ never give up on a good thing }
§ The Pharmacy: My contract at work is being changed in that I'm no longer working every Saturday but instead will be working every second Saturday. I was a bit miffed about this to begin with (I actually like working Saturdays), but after mulling it over I realised that this change is actually going to work out way better for me than I'd first anticipated and so I've readily agreed to the change. I'll be alternating the Saturday's with my Mondays now, so every two weeks it means I'll end up with a three-day-weekend (FTW!). Which, wonderfully coincides with some of my weekends away which means I'm using less holidays and that my boss can no longer make a fuss about me taking the holidays I want because there will always be someone to cover them. WHOOP!

§ BFI Merlin Screening: Said change in contract takes affect from the 1st September, which means that my first week of the new contract will end up with my having a three-day weekend. How stoked am I?! XD ...which got me thinking right, because there's apparently this Merlin screening happening the very same weekend, with six of the main cast members in attendance... and there's still some tickets left... and I've just been paid... and well, can you guess where my mind is going with this? My only drama would be finding someone to go with and just where on earth this thing actually is because me and georgraphy fail on epic proportions! heh. But otherwise, any takers? ...this is just a whim atm but if I can find someone to go with and can arrainge cheap transportation (possibly accomodation) between now and then, then I am so there!

§ Collecto-Glasgow: Am very excited for this coming weekend as some of my girlies will be travelling up to sunny Scotland for Collecto-Glasgow as well as copious amounts of fangirling over the couple days following on from it. WHOOP! Cannot wait.
§ In other news: I've not had any Irn Bru, not even a whiff of the stuff, for ...nine days now. NINE DAYS, WTF!? O_O... and to think I was drinking the stuff like I was breathing air, this is somewhat of a worrisome revalation. WOAH. I have instead been drinking copious amounts of Guava juice (South African stuff) and am worrying that I've developed a new (and far more costly) habit. EEP. Especially as I'm going through this new stuff far more quickly that I did the bru. Fellow Scots, send help, asap! XD

Do you think there'll be any opportunity to speak/meet the guests? Or at least snap sneaky photos of them? XD

lol. Everyone keeps telling me it's pretty much a straight line, so your story on getting lost is amusing me greatly. Bless you!

It's def gonna be a fun weekend, guests or not X)

I'm afraid I don't know. I know some people stuck around at the Being Human screening and got to meet Russell Tovey and get their photo taken, but that screening was about half the size of this one. This screening is also pretty early, so they may stick around afterwards. Your best bet is probably to ask when you get there. (Having said that, I'm probably going to take my DVD, just in case >_>).

Honest to god, if the most direct route is a straight line, nine times out of ten I will end up taking the longer, circular one. I CAN'T READ MAPS.

I'm already getting all excited for COLLECTORMANIA LONDON HELL YEAAAAAH \o\

Well, best to be prepared for all eventualities then ;) I'll bring something to get signed just in case as well as my camera! heh.

XD I'm hoping I won't actually do the same thing. I'm terrible just getting around my own city, nevermind London!

OMG COLLECTO LONDON!! I WANT IT NOW EEEEE ...also, am insanely jealous of everyone going to Van-con this weekend. WANTS MISHA OMGEE. ::grabby hands::

A+ plan! If we do get to talk to/meet the cast, I am going to seek you out and huddle nervously beside you. (Just kidding. That would be irritating).

Here's the thing: I could find my way around New York really easily, but I can't find places in London even if I've been there before (I'm looking at you, Shaftesbury Avenue Forbidden Planet store). I think it's because, in America, everything is set out in squares, whereas in London it's all LOL MAZE CITY.

But you know what that means? MISHA REPORTS. (Also possibly more Misha Twittering? We can hope). \o\

See, you say that, but I'll be looking for someone to cling to myself so please do feel free! XD

If I'm with people who know there way about I tend to "tune out" my surroundings. Which is a pain in the arse because it means finding my own way next time is a right pain! lol. I've never been to America myself, but I'll take your word that the squares are easier to navagate!

How awesome would it be if he tweeted whilst there!? "MishaCollins: wish I were back in the UK. Those fans were the shitz!" ...or something. haha.

(PS. you did get my email with your fic/beta didn't you? I just wanted to check coz I'm worrying that my email isn't working properly atm :S)

We can cling to each other! You can also stop me from taking the piss out of Bradley if I speak to him, which I always seem to do.

New York is easier to navigate because the Empire State Building will be on one block, and they're all heavily signposted. Also because you can pretty much walk in a perfectly straight line from Central Park right down to the Empire State.

I bet he will. I hope he will. I miss his Twitter posts! :(

(I did! I'm going to reply asap, but thank you so much for sending it back, I'm sorry I'm a cad who can't reply to my e-mails in a timely fashion).

lmao, what're you like to say/do!? ...if it's making fun of his faces then well, we'll have to keep each other in line there!

That sounds easy enough! lol. I am potentially going to NY sometime next year. But I'm not entirely sure yet. I shall bear this straight-line info in mind, heh.

:( me too. he's too amusing not to be posting 24/7, for serious!
