ARGH. Dear Lord, that was absolutely beautiful all the way through.

I think I've reached the stage where I'm not sobbing every time I think about it, or see it (which was what I was like for three days following Ianto's death), but that still cut me up. Gah.

As well as that, though, I love that video for making me more appreciative of what we had between Jack and Ianto in series three. People are complaining about the tragic ending, about writers "lying" to them, but it really was beautiful in parts, even if it ended terribly. That shot in the Hub 2 where they're smiling at each other...gah. Just gorgeous. I'll always love both of them.

(By the way; read your post on loving Children of Earth despite raging emotion, and I completely agree. It was heartbreaking but impossible to hate because it was so good. Good on ya.)

I'm welling up while watching this fan video. I know that some folks are pissed and angry, but I don't feel that what happened in CoE negates the love that Jack has (and will always have) for Ianto. What they had was real for them as a fictional couple and for me, who enjoyed watching them on screen.

I will never feel that way.

For me, Torchwood was more than just seeing cute and fun and flirty scenes between Jack and Ianto.

It was about a group of people, of friends working together to deal with things and issues that most folks could never even contemplate.
