I have had it in my hot little hands for just over an hour but I refuse to read it until I read the 5 other books I have sitting in a pile near my bed.

BTW: Read it quickly so you can get that fic done that you owe me!!

I wasn't going to que, but I fail and gave in at the last minute! It was alright, I managed to jump my way up the line so only had to wait about 20mins before I got my hands on the book!

So much excitement ensured! Especially as they didn't have enough books for everyone who was queing :S I was clinging to tightly to mine as I left the shop XD

YES!! heh. I got the text, but I just read the 'I'm finished' part and stopped reading, just in case ;)

My flist has gone a bit mad this weekend (: Its interesting seeing what people think. I find the size of HP books really intimidating so I'm not sure if I'll read it or not yet. I still have huge piles of stuff to read really so its not as high up on the list as it could be. Someone is likely to spoiler it for me anyway so I'd rather just ask (:

I suppose if you aren't planning on reading it for a while, that makes sense. I just can't believe there are things to read that come before Harry Potter ;D haha. I dropped everything the moment I had the book in my hands and (apart from having to work Saturday), I didn't put the book down till I was done.

I've been going through a stage of not reading much really so it never really caught on. Matthew however rads lots and if its new he'll get it and read it straight away. He'd finished HP before lunchtime yesterday! Maybe at some point I'll get back into reading lots again. The fic is certainly helping with that (:

Please tell me you sat and just held it for a while? Cause when mine came through the post I know I did. I just sat and held it! I just held it and nearly cried that I had the finale.

I've read all the chapter titles (something I did with Order) but I can't read the actual book until next week sometime, cause I got anotehr book to finish first!

It took me between 12-14hrs to read the book. Can't really work it out, lol.

I did hold it for a while! And I stroked it and hugged it and squeed ridiculously loud at the fact that I had it in my hands. It was a very momentus occasion.

And then I started reading! heh. I don't read chapter titles before I start- some of them can be too spoilery. Someone in the que started reading the last page aloud when they god it and promptly had their book taken off them and got their arse booted out the shop. Luckily I didn't hear anything XD

I will admit that I danced around the house like a loon! ::blushes:: I just sat and thought oh god I have the answers to pratically everything in the book and I can't believe I have it in my hands.

I hate when people spoil it for others who haven't read it yet. I let my mum, sister and dad read the last few pages, you know the so many years later bit.

And tis hard to resist! I wanna read it now, I should read it now, but I have another book I really wanna finish first. I have taken to hiding it under a pile. I have a clip, Doctor Who Mag (with The Master on front) a box of plasters, some slip of paper and an umbrella hiding it from view. So at the moment its a matter of out of sight out of mind, but I don't know how longer I will be able to resist.

Okay, I have to ask- what are you reading that is more important than the LAST HARRY POTTER BOOK!? because really, it boggles the mind!

A Karin Slaughter book, that I started reading just after you left here. I've been reading it for ages and its just got interesting. I have about another two/three chapters to read possibly tonight before I start HP!

Well do hurry up with that other drivel ;) HP is interesting from the very beginning!
